Adjustment for inflation KPN Zakelijk
Every year, prices in the Netherlands rise due to inflation. This has an effect on our costs as well. In accordance with our General Conditions of Delivery we are allowed to pass these costs on to you. We therefore adjust our prices and rates every year. This enables us to continue investing in the quality, stability, and security of our products, services, and networks.
For the price indexation, we use the average annual change in the Consumer Price Index set each year by Statistics Netherlands (CBS). This has been set at 3.3%. Consequently, we are raising our rates by 3.3% effective June 1, 2025.

If the price indexation is applicable on your subscription, it will be shown on your invoice. A list of the most frequently occurring subscriptions is given below.

Why is KPN increasing the prices of its products and services?
Every year, prices in the Netherlands rise due to inflation. This has an effect on our costs as well. In accordance with our General Conditions of Delivery we are allowed to pass these costs on to you. We therefore adjust our prices and rates every year. This enables us to continue investing in the quality, stability, and security of our products, services, and networks.
By how much will prices be adjusted for inflation?
For the price indexation, we use the average annual change in the Consumer Price Index set each year by Statistics Netherlands (CBS). This has been set at 3.3%. Consequently, we are raising our rates by 3.3% effective June 1, 2025.
How and when will I be informed about the price changes?
Price changes will be communicated in the invoices for May and June.
Where does it say in my contract that KPN can adjust prices and charging rates in line with inflation?
KPN’s General Conditions of Delivery apply to your contract. Article 3.2 states:
‘KPN may annually increase the prices and rates as of 1 June in accordance with the Consumer Price Index published by Statistics Netherlands (CBS) over the previous period 1 January – 31 December. No price adjustment shall be implemented in any year where the published price index is negative.’
Does the price indexation apply to KPN IoT services as well?
Yes, the price indexation is part of the General Terms and Conditions of KPN for the subscription.
When will the price indexation take effect?
Subscription and/or traffic rates are adjusted on June 1 each year.
Does the price indexation apply to me?
If the price indexation applies to any of your subscriptions, it will be stated on your invoice. You can check your contracts and invoices to see what subscription(s) you have.
I noticed that my invoice has not yet been adjusted for inflation. Why is that?
For technical reasons, the price indexation may be applied to your invoice at a later date.
Can I cancel my subscription now?
The price indexation is not a valid reason for canceling your subscription at no cost before the end of the contract. The price indexation is part of the General Conditions of Delivery of the subscription.
