GlobalData: recente groei uit zakelijke diensten bevestigt strategie KPN in zakelijke markt

Volgens GlobalData, een internationaal onderzoeks- en adviesbureau, is de recente groei uit zakelijke diensten een bevestiging voor de strategie van KPN in de zakelijke markt. In het meest recente ‘KPN – Business Services Europe’ rapport wordt KPN Zakelijke Markt opnieuw als ‘Zeer Sterk’ beoordeeld, waarbij nu ook de beoordeling voor het productportfolio is verhoogd naar ‘Zeer Sterk’.

Het ‘KPN – Business Services Europe’ rapport van GlobalData* dat op 16  november 2022 gepubliceerd werd, omvat een uitgebreide analyse met betrekking tot de visie, strategie, go-to-market en het productportfolio van KPN voor de zakelijke markt. KPN Zakelijke Markt wordt in het rapport opnieuw als ‘Zeer Sterk’ beoordeeld. Op het gebied van go-to-market, productportfolio, innovatie, service en support behaalde KPN de beoordeling ‘Zeer Sterk’. Momentum en stabiliteit worden als ‘Sterk’ beoordeeld. 

KPN heeft in het derde kwartaal van 2022 wederom vooruitgang geboekt ten opzichte van zijn strategische en financiële doelstellingen. De omzet uit de zakelijke dienstverlening groeide voor het tweede achtereenvolgende kwartaal. Deze ontwikkeling wordt positief ontvangen en is volgens GlobalData een bevestiging voor de strategie van KPN in de zakelijke markt: 

  • “Recent growth in business services has validated KPN’s strategy, which is focused on pervasive fiber, 5G and edge, growing its customer footprint, and simplifying its operating model.”

 Daarnaast heeft GlobalData de beoordeling voor het productportfolio van KPN in de zakelijke markt verhoogd van ‘Sterk’ naar ‘Zeer Sterk’. Ter onderbouwing worden onder andere de portfoliotransformatie en ontwikkelingen binnen de Secure Networking, Cloud Communications en Cloud & Workplace proposities genoemd: 

  • “By end-2021, KPN had reduced its business product portfolio by more than 50% since 2019. KPN now provides business customers simplified, modular, and converged propositions that combine network, ICT (e.g., cloud and workspace), and security services. By Q2 2022, approximately 100% of eligible SME and 87% of eligible large and corporate enterprises had been migrated from traditional fixed voice and legacy broadband services.”
  • “Within Secure Networking, KPN combines services such as internet, VPN, SD-WAN, SD-LAN, and network security. Key recent introductions include a centralized firewall, Elastic Interconnect (interconnectivity solution based on KPN’s internet exchange), SD-WAN Premium (based on VMware), and Secure Connect (network-based solution for secure hybrid working). KPN has also developed solutions for converged B2B/B2C use cases in support of providing secure and guaranteed business services at home. KPN partners with Cisco Meraki and VMware on SD-WAN.”
  • “In the cloud and workplace domain, KPN offers a variety of workplace, public, and private cloud solutions. Key introductions are Business Ready Cloud, Managed Oxygen, and a Modular Workplace offering. KPN CloudNL has been relaunched as a sovereign cloud offer. For Cloud Communications, KPN offers various solutions based on Cisco, Microsoft, Mitel, and Genesys.”

GlobalData: recent growth in business services has validated KPN’s business market strategy

According to GlobalData, an international research and advisory company, the recent growth in business services has validated KPN’s strategy. KPN Business Market is once again rated ‘Very Strong’ in the most recent ‘KPN – Business Services Europe’ report. Also, the rating for product portfolio has now been increased to ‘Very Strong’. 

The ‘KPN - Business Services Europe’ report by GlobalData* that was published on November 16th, 2022 includes an in-depth evaluation of KPN’s vision, strategy, go-to-market and product portfolio for the business market. Overall, KPN Business Market is once again rated ‘Very Strong’. Go-to-market, product portfolio, innovation, service and support were rated ‘Very Strong’. Momentum and stability were rated ‘Strong’.  

In the third quarter of 2022, KPN continued to make progress against its strategic and financial ambitions. Business service revenues grew for the second consecutive quarter. This development is also positively received, and, according to GlobalData, validates KPN’s strategy in the business market:

In addition, GlobalData has increased the rating for KPN’s B2B product portfolio from ‘Strong’ to ‘Very Strong’.
