Schneider Electric was looking for a partner who could help them connect their electric car charging stations. Together with Sierra Wireless KPN offered Schneider Electric the possibility to manage thousands of charging stations in the field with one single platform.
The combination of the KPN Control Center and the Airvantage platform of Sierra Wireless also enables the faster development of applications, including power monitoring, billing or charging station reservations.
Schneider Electric was looking for the possibility to roll out their solution throughout Europe with one price and one SIM card. They also wanted to lower their TCO and first time right charging station installment.
