Progress on share repurchase program KPN

Further to the share repurchase program announced on 5 February 2008, KPN announces that, during 4 August to 8 August 2008, it has repurchased 1,681,029 KPN ordinary shares at an average price of EUR 11.17. To date, approximately 82% of the repurchase program has been completed. The repurchase program that started on 22 February 2008 will run through 30 September 2008.
Furthermore, KPN repurchased 1,681,029 KPN shares in the period from August 4 through August 8, 2008 to cover the obligations from its management share remuneration plan.
