The KPN Sustainability Report 2011 is based on the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), an international organization which sets global standards for sustainability reports. The report ‘Sustainably connected’ was audited and approved by an independent outside party, KPMG Sustainability.
In 2011 KPN won “De Kristal”, the award for the Netherlands’ most transparent sustainability report, for its Social Report 2010. KPN emerged top of the Transparency Benchmark Survey 2010 of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture & Innovation. This is a survey that shows how Dutch companies report their Corporate Social Responsibility activities. KPN occupied 4th place in 2012.
