Stakeholder dialogue

In discussion with stakeholders.

Our CSR policy is based on the dialog with our stakeholders. For this dialog we use our conventional channels of communication, such as websites, customer magazines and our contacts with customers. We also organize exchange sessions in which we and external stakeholders discuss KPN's role in society. In addition, our internal social media platform TEAMKPN Online gives employees the opportunity to discuss the CSR policy amongst themselves.

We discuss a range of topics with the Dutch government, including market regulation, the fiber network roll-out, frequency allocation and net neutrality. Price regulation, charges for access to the fixed Dutch network and roaming charges are also on the agenda. Privacy, cybercrime and the availability of the 112 emergency services call number are discussed as well. We also express our views on these topics at European forums.

We inform our investors regularly about our CSR activities. In so doing we take care to ensure that we communicate the fact that our CSR policy is not a stand-alone program but a component of our corporate strategy.
We also get spontaneous reactions, some positive, some negative or critical. They are a key way of stakeholder dialog and they reach us through various routes, one of which is mvo@kpn.com.

Several conclusions and recommendations resulting from our dialogs can be found via the links below.
