TelewerkAspectprijs 2009

During the TelecomExpo trade fair in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, the TelewerkAspectprijs 2009 was awarded to KPN. Henk van Tilborg, HR senior project manager for The New Way of Working, accepted the awarded on behalf of KPN.

The TelewerkAspectPrijs is awarded to a company that makes a valuable contribution to the introduction of The New Way of Working, by means of research, articles, workplace concepts, products or services. ‘KPN serves as an example to others’, says the jury’s report.

‘KPN launched The New Way of Working for reasons of corporate social responsibility: KPN has shown that it can reduce CO2 emissions by shortening travel times considerably.’

By sponsoring the Telewerkprijzen, the Dutch E-work Foundation, Stichting TelewerkForum, aims to promote The New Way of Working in the Netherlands. The foundation also wants to show how innovative solutions can solve social and organizational problems. The other nominees were SNS Reaal, Annie Connect, Stichting Eykenburg, Vodafone and Waterschap AA en Maas. SNS Reaal won the TelewerkJaarprijs.
