
We have been gaining experience of The New Way of Living & Working in our own organization since 2008. KPN now has over 9,000 “New Workers”. An internal survey has shown that 76% of our employees in the Netherlands believe they can work in accordance with The New Way of Living & Working. The positive aspects most frequently cited by KPN employees are independence, vitality, work-life balance, enjoyment and challenge. The savings in time and kilometers are considerable: New Workers save over two hours and 139 kilometers of rush hour traffic each week.
Three quarters of KPN employees in the Netherlands are able to take part in teleconferencing with a ConferenceCard. Colleagues can keep in contact with each other whenever and whenever they want via the internal social media platform TEAMKPN Online. At the same time, we are aware that colleagues also have to be able to meet each other in person in order to work together effectively.
