KPN and the World Wildlife Fund

In 2011 we started collaborating with the World Wildlife Fund and joined the Climate Savers Program to lessen our impact on the climate. We thereby underlined both our ambition to operate climate neutrally in 2020 and the energy savings we have achieved up to now. The Climate Savers Program is an international leadership program for companies, designed to show that economic growth and a significant reduction of CO2 emissions can go hand in hand. By reducing their ecological footprint, these leading companies can prove that they are key players in the transition to a completely sustainable energy supply program.

In 2011 we developed a Climate Savers implementation plan, which shows how we are going to achieve our climate goals and how we can help our customers to do so. From this partnership also emerged the intention, along with the World Wildlife Fund, to stimulate The New Way of Living and Working, and therefore energy savings, in the Netherlands.
