Carbon Disclosure Project

The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is a joint initiative of global investors that asks publicly quoted companies for details of their approach to climate change. In 2011, we did not manage to improve our transparency score of 2010 and to retain our ‘A’ ranking. Because the CDP changed its assessment method and applied stricter criteria, we slipped back one point to 79. Not a single telecom company achieved the ‘A’ ranking in 2011. We succeeded in maintaining our position in the top five of the Telecommunications section of the Global 500 Leadership Index, however. In 2012 we aim to improve our disclosure score and regain the ‘A’ ranking.
