In 2010, KNSB and KPN launched the skating portal of the Netherlands: schaatsen.nl. This platform for skaters and skating fans offers news, background information, reports, columns by famous skaters and ex-skaters and a webshop with official KNSB Craft clothing. Schaatsen.nl also has a mobile variant where the lap times can be followed live during the winter season. KNSB is the owner and publisher of the portal, which is visited by thousands of skating fans every day.
