On September 5, KPN will introduce new mobile propositions for consumers in the Netherlands under its KPN and Hi brands. The propositions are based on the use of mobile data; they have a wider selection of data bundles and thereby respond to the latest trends in the Dutch telecom market.
The introduction of the new propositionss means that:
In the first quarter of 2011, KPN noticed that consumer behavior is changing rapidly. Thanks to advanced, fast mobile broadband networks and the adoption of smartphones more and more consumers are making use of online social media and mobile apps to communicate. The traditional propositions based around SMS and voice traffic have become inadequate for the consumer and for KPN.
KPN consulted consumers and other stakeholders before instituting the new propositions. Consumers understand the structure and consider elements of the proposition positive.
KPN and Hi customers can choose between three types of proposition:
KPN customers who pay a monthly fee of more than 45 euros will get extra service comprising a replacement phone, a premium helpdesk and proactive subscription advice.
Hi customers who choose the premium Hi messaging subscription get a fast internet subscription, twice as many MBs and unlimited text messages.

The Telfort brand will introduce new propositions early in 2012.
