KPN is pleased to have obtained a license to use 2x15MHz (30MHz) in the 2.6GHz spectrum band in Belgium for a consideration of EUR 15 million. With these high frequencies, KPN will be able to continue the roll-out of high speed mobile data, including services based on next generation mobile technology (LTE) over time, and to serve its many customers and partners in Belgium. The license will become available per 1 July 2012 and will expire in 2027.
