KPN and Huawei have signed a three-year contract for the supply of ultra-fast “point to point” data connections to KPN’s business customers. Huawei will be responsible for the entire production process of these particular data connections that are used for example by KPN Business and Wholesale customers to connect regional offices with a central datacenter in the clients’ headquarters.

Huawei will design, install, deliver equipment and lay the data connections. By outsourcing these activities, KPN will realize a sharp reduction in delivery time as well as considerable cost savings. This will also enable KPN to continue to meet growing market demand.
