In 1989 KPN was privatised and in 1994 KPN shares were listed at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. Per January 1998 the KPN Share has been recalculated for the legal demerger of the TNT Post Group (TPG) effective June 29, 1998 and for the two-for-one share split on June 5, 2000. The recalculation for the demerger of TPG was based on the relationship between the closing price of the KPN share and the closing price of the TPG share on June 29, 1998, resulting in a ratio 3:2.
