Results Q1 2013

Today, the Supervisory Board of Royal KPN N.V. (“KPN”) has formally appointed Mr Joost Farwerck to the company’s Board of Management. Shareholders were informed about this appointment during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (“AGM”) in The Hague, which was held today.

Today, Royal KPN N.V.’s (“KPN”) Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (“AGM”) granted the requested approvals to execute a rights issue of up to EUR 3 billion as well as a number of changes to the Supervisory Board.

KPN has reached agreement to sell its Infrastructure Services & Projects BV (“IS&P”) business to SPIE Nederland (“SPIE”) for an undisclosed consideration. IS&P is reported under KPN’s Business segment and generated revenues in 2012 of more than EUR 100 million with over 600 FTEs.

On 23 April 2013, KPN will publish its Q1 2013 results in a reporting format adjusted for certain organizational changes and a change in accounting policy.

Koninklijke KPN N.V. (“KPN”) has published the agenda of its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, to be held on April 10th, 2013. The agenda contains, amongst others, a number of proposed changes to KPN’s Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board consists of eight members of which four members, Mr Risseeuw, Ms Van Lier Lels, Mr Routs and Mr Haank, will step down since the end of their four-year term is reached. Furthermore, Mr Bischoff will step down as a member of the Supervisory Board due to other commitments. Mr Bischoff has been a member of KPN’s Supervisory Board for the last ten years.
