KPN regards suppliers as partners in achieving joint success. That is why we want to work with suppliers that are able, together with us, to explore strategic goals and make improvements in the supply chain. Our suppliers are innovative, provide constructive ideas and are proactive in terms of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
CSR (‘people, planet, profit’) is important to us. It helps us to improve our service and to safeguard the continuity of our business. A significant part of our sustainability impact can be found in the supply chain. Environmental aspects such as energy consumption, raw material use and recycling play a role in this, as do socio-ethical issues such as labor conditions, human rights and fair business. Consequently, KPN conducts a policy of encouraging its suppliers to operate responsibly. We call this our policy for sustainable procurement.
