KPN sells Telfort masts to NOVEC

KPN announces that it has signed an agreement yesterday with NOVEC in relation to the sale of 101 masts of the former Telfort radio network. The consideration has been paid in cash at completion.
After the integration of Telfort into the KPN network in 2007, these 101 masts have become redundant. The masts still broadcast GSM, DCS and UMTS frequencies for KPN and several other operators, but they could also be used to broadcast digital TV, radio and other potential future applications like WiMax. In 2007 the masts generated pro-forma revenues of around € 1.6 million.
