Appointments to KPN’s Supervisory Board

KPN’s Annual General Meeting of shareholders (AGM) has appointed Mr R.J. (Rob) Routs (62) and Mr D.J. (Derk) Haank (55) as Members of the Supervisory Board. This fills in the vacancy that arose after Mr Eustace stepped down from the Supervisory Board last year and expands the size of the Supervisory Board by one member to eight.
From 2004 until his retirement in 2008, Mr Routs was an Executive Board Member of Royal Dutch Shell PLC, where he was responsible for the downstream business. Mr Haank is currently CEO of Springer Science+Business Media (Springer), which is a world-wide operating scientific and medical journal publisher with 5,000 employees.
The AGM further approved the reappointments of Chairman Mr A.H.J. Risseeuw and Member Mrs M.E. Van Lier Lels, who have both served on the Board for the last four years, for a subsequent term.
